Farms

Parrish Farm, Newberg Oregon.  Boxwood Gardens is the primary tenant. Grass seed grows on the balance of the property east of the creek.  We have an active CREP along the length of the creek intersecting the property, as well as wetlands on the east side.   The CREP was established in 2014. The 4500 trees and shrubs planted will create shade for the creek, which is Chinook sensitive and flows directly into the Willamette river.

CREP Wetlands are home to wildlife and native grasses

Prune Farm, Colusa, California.  For many decades my dad’s Uncle Bill ran the prune farm and sold his fruit to Sunsweet.   We had an opportunity to buy the orchards. After the trees reached their end we converted to row crops.

Bill Halsey developed and produced these harvesters for his prune orchards

Greenhouse build winter 2022-23, Corvallis. My dog helped, the voles and moles were not too happy. The plants very much so.
